D. Deletion (Right to Be Forgotten)
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., if we are legally required to retain the data).
6. How We Use Artificial Intelligence
Our core service, Nedicare, is an AI-driven coaching application. The service utilizes advanced AI models to analyze the parenting scenarios you input and generate personalized, real-time coaching responses and guidance. The AI is essential for tailoring the advice to your child's specific profile and needs.
AI Service Disclosure
The core of the Nedicare service relies on advanced Artificial Intelligence models. To provide the personalized coaching experience, we utilize third-party AI providers.
Specific Third-Party AI Providers:
1) OpenAI via OpenRouter — primary chat model + embeddings
2) OpenRouter — API routing intermediary
3) Cohere — search reranking for knowledge base
Note: The system is model-agnostic; specific providers may change as better models become available.
Important Note on AI Data:
- Data minimization: We practice data minimization, sending only the information necessary to generate a personalized coaching response.
- No PII Sharing: To deliver personalized coaching, necessary personal details (your name, your child's nickname, age, and gender, and your coaching context) are included in prompts sent to AI providers via their APIs. This is essential to the service. All chat history, session data, and personal information is stored on our own infrastructure. Third-party AI providers only receive the data needed to generate a response and do not retain it beyond processing.
- No Training on Your Data: We contractually prohibit our third-party AI providers from using your personal data (including coaching inputs) to train or improve their underlying general models.
- Human-in-the-Loop: For safety and quality assurance, a limited number of anonymized coaching logs may be reviewed manually by Nedicare staff (not the third-party AI providers) to monitor for critical safety issues, enhance content quality, and improve the overall effectiveness of our coaching algorithms.
7. Data Security and Retention
A. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of our systems.
B. Data Retention
During the current development and testing phase, data is retained for service improvement purposes. Users may request a copy of their data or request deletion at any time by contacting info@nedicare.ch. Specific retention periods will be defined and published prior to public launch.
8. International Data Transfers
Nedicare is based in Switzerland. The information we collect is governed by Swiss Law. All application data (database, session storage, vector database, workflow engine) is hosted on infrastructure (on a dedicated server) managed and operated by Nedicare in the EU (Germany). No third-party cloud sub-processors are used for data storage. If you are accessing the Service from outside of Switzerland, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Switzerland and other countries where our service providers are located. These jurisdictions may not have the same data protection laws as your home country.
9. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our app homepage or sending you a notification).
